SAP Integration Consultant CPI (m/f/d)
Location: Malaga/Spain | Contract: Full-time/Permanent
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior SAP Integration Consultant with deep hands-on experience in SAP Integration Suite (CPI) to own day-to-day operations, drive continuous improvements, and deliver new integration implementations across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
Your Responsibilities
Design & Build
Design and implement end-to-end integrations (real-time, batch, event-driven) using SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
Create iFlows, mappings, scripts, and reusable integration components
Produce high-level and low-level designs and support testing and go-live activities
Improve & Optimize
Refactor and optimize existing interfaces for reliability, performance, security, and cost
Standardize integration patterns and contribute to reusable templates and assets
Enhance monitoring, alerting, and automation
Operate & Support
Support day-to-day operations: monitoring interfaces, analyzing errors, and resolving incidents
Manage certificates, keys, and secure connectivity
Ensure SLAs, compliance, and stable production operations
Collaborate & Govern
Work closely with SAP and non-SAP application teams, architects, and business stakeholders
Contribute to interface standards, documentation, transport strategy, and change processes
Mentor junior team members
Required Skills
Must-have
5+ years of experience in integration, including strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI / Integration Suite
Solid knowledge of common integration patterns and protocols (REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, EDI/AS2)
Experience with transport and release management on BTP
Good communication skills and experience working with stakeholders
Very good English skills
Nice-to-have
Event-driven architectures, SAP Event Mesh, B2B/EDI mappings
Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
Knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM, ISA-M, API-first design
German or Spanish
